Technical Higher secondary school Vattamkulam, one of the pioneer technical education institution of Malappuram district,is managed by The Institute of Human Resources Development (IHRD) - established by Government of Kerala. IHRD is dedicated to the scientific advancement, technological progress and economic growth of the country through human resources development. .THSS Vattamkulam is situated at Nellyssery near Edappal in Thrissur – Calicut route. THSS Vattamkulam was established in 1993 and since it’s incorporation our students made great achievements in both curricular and co curricula domains. To name few latest achievements, we secured full pass in both secondary (THSLC ) and Higher Secondary examinations for last few years and secured over all championship in Technical high school arts fest for last 3 consecutive years. School has 100 seats for both  Integrated science (Biology)  group and Physical Science (Electronic) group at higher secondary level and 100 seats for secondary level.
